About Choices

Choices Education Center is a home-based private school committed to customized learning, student success, parent choice, compassion, dignity, and a peaceful learning environment.

Parent guidelines

Maintain a working phone with texting or an email checked regularly for school communication.
Provide each student with a laptop, charger, and headphones. Choices cannot be responsible for damage to a student's computer.
Drop-off is no earlier than 15 minutes before the session; A.M. pickup is no more than 5 minutes after the session.
Annual tuition is $2,250, or ten monthly payments of $225 from August through May.
Monthly tuition is due on the 1st and must be received by the 5th; the August payment is due on the first day of school.
Registration fees are non-refundable. Session priority is based on confirmed registration-fee payment and availability.
Tuition refund schedule: August 90%; September–October 75%; November 50%; December 40%; January–February 25%; March and after 0%.
Seniors continue monthly tuition through the May graduation even if coursework finishes early.

Leak-proof drinks and non-messy snacks are recommended; no energy drinks.
Cell phones are not allowed during learning time unless necessary and may be held until pickup if disruptive.
Students must speak respectfully and help maintain a peaceful, positive environment.
No texting, social media, or email during class time.
Homework is optional unless a parent or student requests it; programs can be used at home with internet access.
