Who we are

A school built around the child, not the system.

Choices Education Center is a place where families in Cut-Off and across the United States trust their children's education. We're a small school by design — because knowing every student by name, by strength, and by struggle is the only way to teach them well.

From Pre-K through 12th grade, our teachers work closely with each family to build a learning plan that fits the child. We hold high academic standards, but we also teach honesty, kindness, and grit — the things that last long after the textbooks close.

A learning journey from
Pre-K to graduation.

Every stage builds on the last, so your child never falls through the cracks.

Where curiosity becomes a habit.

Pre-K – 1st Grade

Our youngest students learn through play, hands-on exploration, and gentle structure. Phonics, number sense, and social skills are woven into the day so children barely notice they're learning — they just know it's fun to come to school.

  • Phonics & early reading
  • Hands-on math with manipulatives
  • Social-emotional learning
  • Daily outdoor time

Why families choose us

What a small school can do.

Teachers who know your child

With a 10:1 ratio, our teachers don't just know grades — they know what motivates each student, when they're struggling, and when they're ready for more.

Character that goes with the diploma

We weave honesty, respect, and responsibility into everything. Our graduates leave with strong grades and the values to use them well.

A plan that fits the student

No child is average. We build individualized learning paths — extra help where needed, advanced work where ready, and a graduation plan that actually makes sense.

College and career ready

Our 100% graduation rate isn't a slogan — it's the result of years of personal attention. Every senior leaves with a plan, whether that's college, a trade, or the workforce.

A community, not a campus

Parents know each other. Younger kids know the older ones. Teachers stay for decades. It's the kind of place where people look out for each other's children.

Affordable for working families

We keep tuition lower than you'd expect for a school this personal. Flexible payment plans and sibling discounts help make tuition manageable.

Admissions

Three simple steps to enroll.

We keep it straightforward because we know choosing a school is a big enough decision on its own.

01

Visit the school

Come see a class in session. Meet teachers, walk the halls, and ask anything. Tours are by appointment — morning or afternoon.

02

Submit your application

Complete the one-page application. We’ll take care of contacting your child’s previous school and completing the withdrawal paperwork.

03

Complete enrollment

Once the registration fee and first month’s tuition are paid, your child can begin right away.

Student life
"My daughter was lost in a class of 30 at the public school. Here, she's known. Her teacher calls us when something's off, not just at report card time."
Gayle B.
Parent, 8th grade
"The teachers actually have time for the kids. My son went from hating school to asking to go early. That alone was worth it for us."
David T.
Parent, 5th grade
"We're not wealthy, and we were worried about the cost. The payment plan made it doable. Best decision we've made for our kids' future."
Jennifer L.
Parent, K & 10th grade
